Update on Violin Project

January 25th, 2009 stephentaylor No comments

Well, I am finally making progress on my violin project as well. I am still having difficulty with the purling. The edging is taking more time than the rest of the violin project combined. Also, I’m finding the difficulty of working with the material particularly challenging.

Quick Update

January 20th, 2009 stephentaylor No comments

My last post was a while back. A few things have me tied up. My job has really picked up demand and I’m working on a few new personal things. I’ve picked up the guitar again. While my current focus is on playing, my long term objective is to write songs.  I’ve also started on two new projects, an acoustic guitar and a violin. I don’t have any good pictures of either project, although they are quite a bit complete. More soon, I hope.

Brain Wash Drink

October 31st, 2007 stephentaylor No comments

Well, I stopped by the new Pops station on Route 66. It’s in Arcadia, just east of Edmond. Since it’s on my way home when I go by Route 66, it’s an easy stop. They have an eclectic mix of soda pops.

I tried a new one (new for me), Brain Wash (Blue). Oh, my goodness. This is a drink to not be taken lightly.  It has Jalepeno Oil as well as Ginseng, Ginger, and lots of other stuff. It’s made by a company called Skeleteens. I won’t be having these often (if ever), but you just gotta try one.

One of my favorites is still Mason’s Root Beer. Excellent stuff.
